2025 Artist Open House
Crystal Palace Artist Open House is a free, self-guided art trail in Crystal Palace. Over two weekends in September, local artists, designers and makers invite you into their homes, studios, and creative spaces to discover their work.
With more than 70 artists taking part this year, the trail is a unique way to explore Crystal Palace’s creative spirit. Expect painting, pottery, textiles, sculpture, photography, printmaking, jewellery and more all in walking distance.

Art Carry Hornby
Carry Hornby is a Chinese brush artist, best known for her Chinese calligraphy work & paintings, though she also use other medium notably pastel, oil and chalk etc. ‘Her work often contains series of symbols and natural features. Each one gives meaning and carries messages, as she states ‘ Art is another language I communicate my thoughts, emotions and feelings’. She exhibits regularly and leads talks and workshops at gallery, museum, library and other venues.
